Mark has been tutoring Piano, Organ and keyboards since 1980.

During this time he has seen numerous students come thru the teaching studios.

Initially he taught for Jurjens in Wollongong

He commenced Mark-Time Music studios in 1990 when he moved to part-time Civil Engineering  and increased music tuition.

The launch of Music for the Heart and Soul also sees the launch of the new business name ‘Remarkable’ and website www.remarkablemusic.net created by Jaques Design and KMT Systems.

In 1985 his student Deone Wilson won the Australian Final of the Yamaha Electone (organ) festival and competed for Australia in Germany with a original composition by Mark entitled ‘Creation’.

In 1995 Billy Kostovski represented Australia in the same festival against countries from around the asia oceania region in Sydney Australia.

The Following year David Skinner won a trip for himself and Mark to Kuala Lumpur to represent Australia in the finals there.

Numerous eisteddfod and exam successes have been regular with Mark's students

Mark uses the Alfreds course books for beginners and follows an amended Yamaha teaching method and encourages both reading and aural skills

His love for everything from classical to the blues gives his pupils a varied and diverse approach to their piano and keyboard studies.
