Rest for the Heart and SoulThis cd only project was literally recorded on one rainy day in 2011 and launched the following year, making 7 cd’s produced in 7 years. All tracks were improvised on the theme of sleep and our pursuit of it. The recording uses the Emotional Piano Software with significant hang time on the reverberation of each note played. This has no score partner. It also moves away from the typical structured compositions of Marks previous works and reveals a spacious unhurried feel conducive to rest.After a considerable hiatus in piano album releases, two vastly different projects were launched mid 2016.
