Returning to the Heart and Soul titles of the earlier recordings, this album was written for, inspired by and celebrates the life of Marks younger daughter Emily, ‘Em’ who is an accomplished electric bass guitarist. Each track is built around a bass figure, or riff/motif as an ostinato, with organs, drums and brass accompaniment creating an energy around them. This album is vastly different to any previous Remarkable releases. It has no score accompaniment.
